Vegans of LA is a non-profit organization that was born in May 2022 by Gwenna Hunter. It is the very first Vegan food bank to exist in the city of Los Angeles. The Vegans of Los Angeles Food Bank exists with one goal in mind: to provide people with a variety of vegan alternatives so they can explore more options. We understand the importance of food banks, and that’s why we want to open the door for vegan food banks and pave the way to a more diverse and vegan future in LA. Our vegan food bank in LA works thanks to the amazing job of our founders, our team of volunteers, and our donors. Food banks assist many individuals and families, which is why it’s vital to keep vegan options available and accessible for everyone.
